Craniosacral Therapy is a holistic therapy that treats the body as a whole.

We listen at the body with the hands, through a very light touch that is both diagnostic and therapeutic.

Just like chiropractic, is based on the principle that the body has an innate power and self-healing, it also has all the information it needs to heal and maintain a state of equilibrium.

The therapist does not heal the body or the animal, but only facilitates the understanding of body’s inherent healing.

We give great importance to the central nervous system, meninges and cerebrospinal fluid. The cerebrospinal fluid moves through the central nervous system with a natural rhythm.

These different pulses produced in the body are possible when the nervous system functions optimally without any membranous tensions and together with the movement of the cranial bones. This movement is called the primary craniosacral respiration.Emmanuelle Vandendriessche

We want to help the body to restore natural movement of the cerebrospinal fluid of the spinal cord from the skull to the sacrum and vice versa.

When there are subluxations in the vertebrae, tensions in the meninges surrounding the spinal cord, where there is tension in any organ or when the animal is under stress, craniosacral motion is limited.

Through craniosacral therapy, we try to normalize the function and movement of the skull, spine, sacrum, coccyx and the whole body.

The therapist’s job is based on knowledge of the joints from the cranial bones to the sacrum, the intracranial membranous systems  and of course in the circulatory, muscular and neurological system. Through these systems all other internal structures are influenced such as organs and viscera.

Craniosacral therapy is a very powerful therapy, at a physical level as well as at mental and emotional level.cyste-energetico
